Burlesque Legend & Miss Nude Universe 1975, Tiffany Carter

BurlyCares would like to raise some immediate funds to assist burlesque legend Tiffany Carter. With the summer temperatures in Las Vegas, keeping our Legends cool is often a high priority.

Recently Tiffany has experienced an emergency with her air conditioning unit and is in immediate need to replace the unit as soon as possible. Tiffany’s health and safety are at risk with the Las Vegas heat without getting this unit fixed as soon as possible.

Thankfully, BurlyCares has been in contact with an AC repair in Las Vegas that will work with us to help repair her AC unit, but we will need to raise an immediate $2000 to start the repair process.

Please help us help Tiffany! The entire repair will cost approximately $8000. BurlyCares has set an immediate goal to raise $2000 and a total goal to raise $8000.

About Tiffany Carter

Tiffany Carter started in Hollywood, California and worked the world famous “Pinkpussycat” then onto the “Loosers” which was a copy show of the “Crazy Horse” in Paris. She went on tour in theUSA, Canada, and Japan, and then won the “Miss Nude Universe Competition” in 1975. She then became an instant headliner all over the USA.
She then quit the business in 1989 and then started performing again in 2008, starting with peforming for the “Burlesque Hall of Fame”. She has gone on to perform at many festivals such as “New York City Burlesque Festival”, “The Chicago Burlesque Festival”, “The San Antonio Burlesque Festival” and the “Albuquerque Burlesque Festival”. She currently resides in Las Vegas and continues to teach others the art of burlesque.[1]

Burlesque Legend Mickey Mae

Burlesque Legend Mickey Mae Faerch is in need of our help. Years ago, Mickey underwent a mastectomy with reconstruction. Recently, one of her reconstructed implants ruptured, causing pain, discomfort, emotional distress and has left her vulnerable to systemic infection. After consulting with her doctor, it’s clear that she needs to have the implants removed and her breast reconstructed as soon as possible to protect her health and well-being.

Unfortunately, the cost of the procedure, along with time off work and medical follow-ups, is overwhelming, and not covered by insurance.

Mickey is asking for help to raise funds for the costs of the surgery, post-operative care, and the essentials needed to recover safely and fully. Any amount, big or small, will help Mickey greatly.

We would like to set a fundraising goal of $5000.00 for Mickey.

About Mickey Mae

‘Mickey Mae, The Little Mermaid’, is a Danish-Canadian international burlesque performer. She was a head lining artist who started in the 1970’s and continued performing into the 1980’s and 1990’s. Mickey began performing across Canada, to the USA, France, Japan and Guam. She then settled down in San Diego and returned gleefully to the burlesque stage after three decades. She recently performed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame 2024 Weekender as a featured burlesque legend.
